The Smile on 65+ program provides low-cost dental care for seniors 65 or older who are residents of Tennessee, do not have comprehensive dental insurance, and who meet income requirements. If the client has Medicare with dental benefits, those benefits may not exceed $500. Services can include dentures, partial dentures, cleanings, emergency care, preventive services, x-rays, extractions, crowns, and fillings. Some clinics may be able to do root canals on a sliding scale fee.
